Abstract
A side-lighting type surface light source deviceincludes a light source, a reflector member, a light guide plate member, and a fixing member. The reflector memberreflects a light ray from the light source, and includes opposed first end portionand second end portion, wherein the first end portion is arranged to project out of the second end portion. The fixing memberincludes a fixing bodyhaving a support surface (a back portion) and a reflector holderfor holding the reflector member. The reflector member supports the reflective sheetand the light guide plate memberwith the first end portion thereof.
