Abstract
A belt-like protruding portionextending longitudinally is provided on an air bag coverwhich covers a folded air bag. In the event that the air bagis twisted when the air bagis mounted on a vehicle body, a longitudinal dimension of the air bagis contracted largely, whereby an interval between adjacent mounting portionsis decreased, thereby the fixing of the air bagbeing disabled. As a result, the fixing of the air bagin the twisted state is prevented assuredly, and the smooth deployment of the air bagis enabled.
