Abstract
In a clutch device, a clutch cover assemblyis attached to a second flywheel assemblyto bias elastically a frictional connection portionagainst a friction surfaceof a flywheel. A release devicereleases the bias toward the frictional connection portionby applying a load to the clutch cover assemblyin an axial direction toward the engine. A support plateelastically supports the second flywheel assemblysuch that the second flywheel assemblycan move in a bending direction. A bending direction movement suppression mechanismsuppresses bending movement of the second flywheelby connecting the second flywheel assemblyto a disk-like memberwhen the clutch cover assemblyreceives a load toward the engine in the axial direction.
