Abstract
A niobium capacitor having an anode () with niobium as its maim component, and a dielectric layer () formed on the anode. The anode () and the dielectric layer () are in close contact with each other with an interface therebetween. A junction region is defined as the region including the interface. The junction region contains a specific amount of manganese.
