Abstract
A semiconductor device has an edge termination region () having a plurality of trenches (). Conductive material () and insulating material () is formed at the trenches, and surface implants () are formed on either side of the trenches. A conductive bridge () connects the surface implants () to allow equilibrium to be reached in reverse bias.
