Abstract

A silver halide light sensitive photographic element comprising a support bearing at least one cyan image forming hydrophilic colloid layer comprising cyan image dye forming coupler of Formula I and a saturated alcoholic high boiling solvent or mixture of solvents of Formula II: Formula I wherein Ris an alkyl group, Ris a ballast group, and X is hydrogen or a coupling-off group;Formula II wherein Rrepresents an alkyl group, and Rand Rindividually represent hydrogen or an alkyl group, or Rand Rmay be joined to form a cycloalkyl group, provided that the total number of carbon atoms contained in R, R, and Ris at least 10 and that the alcoholic solvent or mixture of solvents of Formula II is liquid at 37° C.
