Abstract
High capacity sulfur oxide absorbents utilizing manganese-based octahedral molecular sieve (Mn—OMS) materials are disclosed. An emissions reduction system for a combustion exhaust includes a scrubbercontaining these high capacity sulfur oxide absorbents located upstream from a NOX filteror particulate trap.
