Abstract
The invention concerns an optical fiber splicing device (LWL-SPG) for substance-determined connection of optical fibers (F, F) by means of an electric corona discharge (GEG). A corona discharge guide (LBF, LBF, LBF) is arranged over the electrodes (E, E) for the stabilization of the conditions during the splicing process.
