Abstract
In a locking device () for a vehicle seat (), particularly for a motor vehicle seat, having locking elements (G) which interact in order to lock the locking device () and are moved away from one another to unlock it, and at least one securing element () which ensures that the locked locking elements (G) do not open, the securing element () being moved away from the locking elements (G) in order to unlock the locking device (), a blocking element () is provided which blocks the securing element (), which has been moved away, as long as the locking elements (G) are not moved away from one another.
