Abstract

A disk brake having a support () for a pad () having a first lug () located in a first cavity () of a holder () and a second lug () located in a second cavity () of a holder () to guide the support () in a direction perpendicular to a plane of a rotor on movement of the brake pad () toward the rotor to effect a brake application. The improvement comprising a plate () attached to the support () by branches () of a first spring () that extends from a first end () and by branches () of a second spring () having hat extend from a second endto respectively resiliently retain lug () in cavity () and lug () in cavity () while moving with the support () during a brake application.
