Abstract
An electric vacuum cleaner includes a nozzle assemblyincluding: a base member; a movable memberinversely rotatably attached to the base memberand having one surface formed with a suction opening; and a covering membermovably attached to the base member. Holding membersfor holding a cleaning sheetare formed on the other surface of the movable member. When the one surface of the movable memberfaces a floor surface and the other surface thereof is covered by the covering member, the electric vacuum cleaner can pick up filth through the suction opening. When the movable memberis rotated inversely so that the cleaning sheetfaces the floor surface, the electric vacuum cleaner can catch the filth by the cleaning sheetand pick up the relatively large filth via a communicating pathformed in between the movable memberand the covering member, and the suction openingconnected to the communicating path
