Abstract
A reinforcement binding machine () capable of binding reinforcement () by winding wire () in loop shape around the reinforcement (), wherein irregular parts () are formed on the peripheral surface of a reel mounting shaft (), an engagement claw () is formed on the inner peripheral surface of a hub hole () of the reel (), and an engagement part () engaged with the irregular parts () to prevent the reel () from racing is formed at the tip part of the engagement claw (), whereby the reel can be prevented from racing while allowing the reel to rotate in normal and reverse directions so as to eliminate the occurrence of entanglement of the wire.
