Abstract
A light engine () includes at least one LED () for generating light of one of a plurality of wavelengths. The LED () is disposed on the magnetic core printed circuit board (). A heatsink () is disposed in thermal communication with a base () and the LED () for conducting thermal energy away from the LED (). The light engine () is magnetically attached to the heatsink () via a magnet () which is attached to the heatsink () to create that a magnetic force between the magnetic core board () and the heatsink ().
