Abstract
In a signal generating circuit SG, a 90 -degree dividergenerates, from a local oscillation signal Ssupplied through an input terminal, an intermediate reference phase signal ISand an intermediate quadrature signal ISorthogonal in phase to the intermediate reference phase signal ISfor output to mixersand, respectively. A shiftershifts the phase of the local oscillation signal supplied through an input terminalby a predetermined amount to generate a shift signal Sfor output through a dividerto the mixersand. The mixermixes the input intermediate reference phase signal ISand the input shift signal Sto generate a reference phase signal S. The mixermixes intermediate quadrature signal ISand the input shift signal Sto generate a quadrature signal S. With this, it is possible to provide a signal generator capable of generating highly-accurate, high-frequency reference phase signals and quadrature signals.
