Abstract

A metallocene compound of formula (I) wherein M is zirconium, hafnium or titanium; X is hydrogen, halogen, or a hydrocarbyl radical optionally containing heteroatoms; R, R, Rand R, are hydrogen or hydrocarbyl radicals; Ris a hydrocarbil radical; L is a divalent bridging group T is a radical of formula (II), (III), (IV) or (V), wherein Rand Rare a hydrogen atom or a hydrocarbyl radical. with the proviso that at least one group among R, R, Rand Ris a group of formula C(R)Rwherein R, equal to or different from each other, is an hydrocarbyl radical; and Ris hydrogen or an hydrocarbyl radical. These compounds are fit for the preparation of propylene copolymers.
