Abstract
An electromagnetic breaker includes a housing () having two conductors (), and a slidable conductor () slidably disposed in the housing () and movable to engage with the conductors () and to electrically couple the conductors () together. An electromagnetic device () may selectively force the slidable conductor () toward and away from the conductors (). The slidable conductor () includes a magnetic member (), the electromagnetic device () includes a core for acting with the magnetic member (). A spring device () may bias the conductors () toward the slidable conductor (). Another spring device () may bias the slidable conductor () away from the conductors ().
