Abstract
An end surface portionof a gear housing, which is located on a motor unitside of the gear housing, is opposed to the motor unitand laterally extends. A brush holderincludes a plate portionthat is opposed to the end surface portion. A case, which receives the control circuit board, is formed separately from the plate portion. A receiving through hole, through which the circuit board receiveris receivable, is formed in the plate portion. The caseis constructed to be positionable next to the yokein a state where the caseis received through the receiving through hole. The yoke, the gear housing, the brush holder, the control circuit boardand the caseare assembleable in a direction parallel to an axial direction of the motor unit. The control circuit boardprojects from the gear housingon the motor unitside, and a projected part of the control circuit board, which projects from the gear housing 8 on the motor unitside, is received in the case. In this way, in the motor that integrally includes the motor unit, the speed reducing unit and the control circuit board, the gear housing of the speed reducing unit can be made compact, and the assembly work can be simplified.
