Operator cab for construction machine

Abstract

An operator cab, which is mounted rotatable on the vehicle bodyof a hydraulic mini-shovel, comprises a cab box, a door, upper and lower link membersand, a slide member, a closed door lock, an opened door lockand a handle. The cab boxhas an internal cab roomand an entrance, which leads into the cab room. The doorcloses and opens the entrancewhen it is moved forward and rearward, respectively. The upper and lower link membersandhave fixed endsand, each of which is connected pivotally to the cab box, and moving endsand, each of which is connected pivotally to the front end of the door. The slide memberis connected pivotally to the rear end of the doorso as to swing freely and slides along a slide rail, which is provided externally on the cab box. The closed door lock, which is provided at the front end of the door, engages with a closed door striker, which is provided on the cab box, when the dooris closed. The opened door lock, which is provided at the front end of the door, engages with an opened door striker, which is provided on the cab box, when the dooris opened.
