Abstract

A conveyor chain having fewer parts is disclosed. The assembly and decomposition of the chain conveyor and the removal of the ball and the like can be easily performed. In a conveyor chainin which chain linkshaving article loading portionson which articles are loaded are adjacently, endlessly connected with each other with connecting pins. Between the hinge portionsdisposed on one side edge of the article loading portionis formed a U-shaped cutout portionhaving a ball holding inner peripheral surface, a free ballinserted between a hinge portionof the chain linkoppositely adjacent to the U-shaped cutout portionand the U-shaped cutout portionis rotatably held by the ball holding inner peripheral surfaceand a stopper. The upper and lower portions of the free ballare protruded from a surface of the article loading portionand a lower end of the link portion, respectively.
