Abstract
A blade () with first circuit entity () having a transmit output () coupled to a first connector () and a receive input () coupled to a third connector (), and a second circuit entity () having a transmit output () coupled to the fourth connector () and a receive input () coupled to a second connector (). The first, second, third and fourth connectors of the blade () are adapted to connect to a peer-to-peer backplane () that electrically connects the blade () to a remote blade () through remote connectors () on the backplane (). The backplane () cross-connects the first connector () to a remote second connector () cross-connects the second connector () to the remote first connector (). The backplane cross-connects the fourth connector () to a remote third connector () and cross-connects the third connector () to a remote fourth connector ().
