Abstract
A process for producing a producing a product of the formula:R—CF═CHRwherein R is F or CFand Ris F when R is F and is H when R is CFby reacting a reactant of the formula:CF—Rwherein Ris selected from and wherein Ris H, F or Cl and Ris H or Cl,in the presence of a suitable catalyst, with a reducing agent selected from methane, methyl chloride and mixtures thereof, in a gas phase reaction.
