Abstract
An electrical connector () includes an insulative housing () having front and rear faces (). A first and a second receiving rooms (), which communicate with each other are defined in the insulative housing () and extend forwardly from the rear face (). A third receiving room () is defined in the insulative housing () and extends forwardly from the rear face () as well. A retaining cavity () is in communication with the third receiving room (). A resilient contact () is received in the first receiving room () and comprises a first contacting portion and a first connecting portion () beyond the rear face (). A central contact () comprises a plate portion () received in the third receiving room (), a fork-type contacting portion () extending forwardly from the plate portion () and a third connecting portion ().
