Abstract
An ink-jet recording ink is disclosed. The ink contains colored particles each composed for Resin A containing a colorant, or colored particles each comprising a core composed of Resin A containing a colorant and a shell composed of Resin B covering the core, a water miscible solvent and water, and absorption coefficient 'a' of the ink as itself and absorption coefficient 'b' of the ink in which the colorant is dissolved satisfy the relation of 0.50≦a/b≦0.95.
