Compounds of the formula (I): wherein X is a —(C═CH)— group or a —CH(CH)— group, with the proviso that when X is a —(C═CH)— group, Ris a Calkyl group or a Calkenyl group and when X is a —CH(CH)— group, Ris hydrogen, a saturated or unsaturated, linear or a branched Calkyl group, a Cacyl group, a Ccycloalkyl group or an aryl group are useful as perfumes.
