Abstract
The invention relates to a method for laminating and cutting a laminate () comprising a sheet having the shape of a web () and separate sheets (). Said laminate () is fed towards a cutting station () and a computer controls cutting process as a function of the feed rate and a signal from the rear edge () detector. The cutting function of the blade is also controlled by computer as a function of the feed rate. The present invention also provides enhanced cutting precision and enables the combined use of a rear edge detector () and a front edge detector ().
