Abstract
Disclosed herein is a method for correcting programs without discontinuing service that is running on a logical computer. A patch managercopies programs and data under control of a logical computer() from one disk to another disk and activates a logical computer(). The logical computer() corrects the copied programs by using a correction program in the copied programs. Then, the patch managerswitches control of a network from the logical computer() to the logical computer() in order to switch operation from the logical computer() to the logical computer().
