Abstract
The invention relates to a control circuit for generating a control signal (I) for controlling the transmission ratio adjustment of a belt transmission continuously adjustable with respect to its transmission ratio. The belt transmission includes a drive end (), an output end () and a primary valve () for adjusting the transmission ratio. The primary valve () is driven by the control signal (I). The control circuit includes means for generating the control signal (I) in dependence upon operating parameters of the vehicle transmitted to the control circuit. It is suggested that the control signal (I) is generated in dependence upon a value (y) for a desired speed of the transmission ratio change or from a quantity derived therefrom. The value (y) for the desired speed of the transmission ratio change is determined from the operating parameters transmitted to the control circuit.
