Abstract
An optical link device is provided that is capable of avoiding deterioration of a signal by preventing stray light from coming into a light receiving element and is capable of miniaturizing the device itself. There are provided a light emitting element which outputs an optical signal toward one optical fiber, a light receiving element which receives an optical signal inputted from another optical fiber, an element mounting unit on which the light emitting element and the light receiving element are mounted, a lens body having a transmission side lens unit for guiding the optical signal outputted from the light emitting element to the one optical fiber, and a reception side lens unit for guiding the optical signal outputted from the other optical fiber to the light receiving element. The transmission side lens unit and the reception side lens unit are integrally formed, and a light shield is formed integrally with the lens body between the transmission side lens unit and the reception side lens unit thereof, which is made of a material different from the transmission side lens unit and the reception side lens unit.
