Abstract

The present invention is directed to an adapter device for electronic equipment, which is adapted to have ability to load another electronic equipment at a loading unit of the existing IC card, and comprises a casing () loaded at a host equipment (), a loading portion () in which the IC card () is loaded, a terminal portion () for performing transmission/reception of data to and from the host equipment provided at front surface () side serving as insertion side into the host equipment, an insertion/withdrawal opening () for IC card provided in a manner continuous to the loading portion, a connecting terminal () electrically connected to a terminal portion and connected to a terminal portion () of the IC card, and cut portions (), () having dimensions different from each other, which allow the rear surface side of the IC card formed at surfaces opposite to each other of the rear surface side of the casing to be exposed.
