Abstract

The present invention provides a monitor system for a projection apparatus which system is suitable for detecting errors in a display on a projection screen. A projection apparatuscomprises a projection sectionthat projects an image on a screen, an image pickup elementinto which the actual projected image projected by the projection sectionis loaded, an error detection sectionthat detects errors in the projection sectionon the basis of the actual projected image loaded into the image pickup element, and a notification sectionthat carries out a predetermined notification when the error detection sectiondetects an error.
