Abstract

A brake device for a motor vehicle having a friction first element with a first face that is pressed against a first face of a second element secured to a wheel of the motor vehicle during a brake application and an third element for applying a braking force bearing via a first end against a second face of the friction first element that is opposite from the first face of the friction first element. The brake device including an amplifier arrangement with a first part separated from a second part by a mutual and a tiltable plane containing a bearing surface located between the friction first element and the application third element relative to a plane for the first face of the second element. The amplifier arrangement rotating applied during a brake application to modify the pressing of the first face against the second face on the friction first element.
