Abstract
In an upright () of a sewing machine (), a thread spool holder () is mounted in a recess () so that it can pivot out of the recess (). On this holder, thread spool pins () are placed, as well as an arm (), on whose upper end thread guidance elements () are fixed. For use, the cover () which covers the thread spool holder () in the stowed state is opened, and the thread spool holder () is pivoted out from the recess ().
