Abstract
The feeding apparatusincludes a hopperthat is provided operable to support the papers in inclined attitude and pivot around a pivot axisand a feed rollerthat is provided at a feed roller shaftand feeds the paper to the downstream side by rotating in contact with the paper. When seen from the side view of the feeding path, guide rollersandare provided near the feed rollerand are driven to rotate in contact with paper. A movable member, provided near the feed rollerpivots around a pivot axisso that the movable member moves backward and forward to the feeding path. Accordingly, a clearance between the feed rollerand the hopperis narrowed.
