Abstract
An outside handle assembly for an automobile is constructed to have a handle bodyconnected to a handle basesecured to an automobile panel, and a connecting leverswingably connected to the handle bodyand driven vertically by an operating force applied to the handle bodyso that an engaging portionformed toward its lower end may push an unlocking leverin a locking deviceto release the locking devicefrom its locking state. The engaging portionis formed to be disengageable from the unlocking leverupon swinging of the connecting levertoward the center of the automobile body.
