Abstract
A heat pipe assembly () has a combined reservoir () and evaporator (), the evaporator () having ducts of a vapor manifold () that exhausts vapor toward the condenser () instead of opposing the flow of liquid condensate to the reservoir (), and the evaporator () having a wick passage that impels the condensate toward the reservoir () instead of opposing the flow of vapor.
