Interleukin-5 receptor (IL-5R) ligands comprising amino sequences of formula TGGGDGYVXVE XARCPTCK, EGYVXVE XARCPTCK, EGYVXVE XARCPTCR, GYVXVE XARCPTCG, EGYVXVE XARCPTCG, GYVXVE XARCPTCR, and EGYVXVE XAACPTCR, and methods of using the same, are described and claimed.
