Abstract

O-isopropyl-isourea hydrogen sulfate or sulfate represented by the formula (I): wherein X represents HSOor ½ SOand the production method thereof, wherein O-isopropyl-isourea hydrogen sulfate is obtained by reacting cyanamide and isopropyl alcohol in the presence of sulfuric acid and is neutralized with an alkali metal hydroxide to produce O-isopropyl-isourea sulfate.
