Abstract
A connector has a pair of male and female connector housings. The male connector housinghas an inner housingthat receives a looseness protecting wedge ringhaving a tapered rear end surface. The inner housingalso receives a waterproof spring packingabutting against a fore end of the wedge ring. The inner housinghas an inner surface that engages with the tapered surfaceof the wedge ring. On engagement of the connector housingsand, a fore end of the spring packingis engaged with an inner wall of the female connector housing, and the female connector housingis closely engaged with the inner housingvia the wedge ring.
