Abstract
An apparatus () for preventing stagnation in a fluid reservoir () comprised of: an inlet/outlet conduit (); a manifold (), which communicates the inlet/outlet conduit () to inlet check valves () and outlet check valves (); the inlet check valves () being positioned on the manifold () and being oriented such that a fluid () will flow from the manifold () through the inlet check valves () to the reservoir () during reservoir filling and fluid flow is prevented through the inlet check valves () during reservoir draining; and the outlet check valves () being positioned on the manifold () and spaced from the inlet check valves () to provide fluid flow within the reservoir () in the general direction from the inlet check valves () to the outlet check valves (), the outlet check valves () being oriented such that fluid flows from the reservoir () through the outlet check valves () into the manifold () during reservoir draining and fluid flow through the outlet check valves () is prevented during reservoir filling.
