Abstract

A pressure sensor apparatus having capability of preventing invasion of foreign materials into a pressure sensor with a simplified structure includes the pressure sensor () for detecting pressure of a fluid for measurement, and a sensor container () for housing therein the pressure sensor (). The sensor container () is connected to a pressure intake port () formed in a pipe () through which the fluid for measurement flows. The sensor container () includes a wall () for defining a second compartment () located in opposition to the pressure intake port () and a first compartment () having a pressure introducing port () for introducing the fluid for measurement extracted through the pressure intake port () to the pressure sensor ().
