Abstract

A thermal transfer printing receiver sheet for use in association with a compatible donor sheet, the receiver sheet comprising a receiving layer to receive a dye thermally transferred from the associated compatible donor sheet, and further comprising a release medium and adhesion-promoting medium and an antistatic medium, wherein said release medium, said adhesion-promoting medium and said anti-static medium are, independently, present as a coating on at least part of at least one surface of the receiving layer or present in the receiving layer; use thereof as a clear printable overlaminate; and a laminated multilayer film comprising one or more of said receiver sheet(s) and a backing sheet comprising a film-forming material.
