Abstract
A paint substitute film productfor surfacing an object S includes a decorative coat including a light-curable resinous layer, and a protective film provided over a surface of the light-curable resinous layer of the decorative coat. An adhesion strength ASbetween a surface of the object and the decorative coat, an adhesion strength ASbetween the protective film and the decorative coat, and a tensile strength TS of the decorative coat are configured to exhibit the equation: AS>AS>TS. The paint substitute film productcan deliver increased economy in surfacing the object, and the step of forming the object to be surfaced and the step of applying the paint substitute film can be provided independently.
