Abstract
A lens holder portionfor holding an objective lensis supported on an end side of each of four suspension wiresso that it is capable of moving in a focusing direction and in a tracking direction. Minute uneven facesare formed in the surface of each suspension wire. Adhesive agentwhich fixes each suspension wireon the lens holderand fixing memberinvades into dented portions in this uneven faceand hardens, thereby producing an anchor effect to improve bonding strength. Consequently, in an objective lens drive unitin which the lens holderis supported by a plurality of suspension wires, bonding strength to the suspension wirecan be improved.
