Abstract
This invention relates to copolymer compositions having pigment like properties, comprising a fluorescent or non-fluorescent dye attached to a polymer chain by a spacer having a chain length of Cor longer. The invention also provides for new mono- and difunctional dye monomers comprising a polymerizable group attached to a dye moiety by a spacer of a chain length of Cor longer. The polymer pigments provide excellent properties, especially high temperature stability and easy applicability as colorant in different standard polymers.
