Abstract

A runway and taxiway lighting system (of FIG.). The system () includes a housing () as part of a light assembly (), which light assembly () includes a light source () for emitting light (), and a light pipe (). The light pipe () has a first end () in close association with the light source () for coupling the light () thereinto, and a second end () from which the light () is dispersed. The system () also includes a power source encased in a power box (), and operatively connected to the light assembly () for providing power thereto.
