Abstract
A device () for mounting an electric motor (), in particular a fan motor, includes an essentially pot-shaped receptacle housing ()—functioning as motor housing ()—with a receiving opening () into which at least part of the electric motor () extends. A holding flange () is attached to the receptacle housing () for mounting the motor housing () to a carrier element (), e.g., a motor vehicle heater system and/or air conditioner. A mechanism for immobilizing the electric motor () radially and axially in the motor housing () is included. The receptacle housing () includes at least one resilient-elastic holding element () for axial immobilization.
