Abstract

An inkjet recording sheet has a colorant-receiving layer on a support. The colorant-receiving layer is provided with at least one of compounds represented by the following formulas (1) to (4) and which has either or both of an I/O value of at least 0.5 and a water soluble property. The colorant-receiving layer is also provided with at least one organic mordant selected from polyallylamine, polyvinylamine and derivatives of these.
