Abstract
A mobile satellite payloadand a method for sampling communication signalsare provided. The mobile satellite payloaduses a plurality of receive radiating elementswithin a phase array antennato convert the communication signalsto received signals [S(t)]. A plurality of low noise amplifiers (LNAs)amplify the received signals [S(t)] to then be received by a plurality of analog-to-digital (A/D) converters. The A/D converterstransform the received signals [S(t)] into digital baseband signals [″(t)].
