Abstract

The invention relates to a narrow fabric needle loom, comprising a shedding device forming a shed, and a weft insertion needle () for at least one weft loop (). A knitting needle () is provided on the discharge end () of the shed facing away from the feed end () of the weft insertion needle () and secures the weft loops () by meshing (). A second knitting needle () that meshes () the loops is provided on the feed end () of the weft insertion needle (). The knitting needles for the feed end () and the discharge end () are mounted so that they can be swiveled about the same rotational axis ().
