Abstract

The hairclip () has two legs () and a hinge () with a spring () connecting the legs. The legs () each have a tine base () and a number of curved tines () arranged in rows on one side of it. Each tine base () is adjoined by an actuating section () on the opposite side. The two actuating-sections () are disposed asymmetrically relative to a length of the tine bases () and opposite each other. For the sake of tight spacing and easy manipulation, these hairclips () are placed on the curlers () in such a way that the actuating leg sections () of one hairclip () are not disposed in the immediate vicinity of the actuating leg sections () of an adjacent hairclip ().
